Q,  How can i pay ?

A, We are happy to accept pay pal, postal orders and personal cheques, we will email you our postal details when you have submitted your order on our shopping cart.

Q, Do you ship abroad and how much will it be?

A, Yes we do ship worldwide and postage is free for all standard items, if you are ordering in large amounts, your item is quite heavy or if you require a quick service then we would ask you to get in touch for a postage quote.

Q,How much is postage?

A, Retro dolls always sends their items out free to the u.k., worldwide customers also can take advantage of free postage apart from heavy or items brought in large amounts, non u.k customers please read the answer above for shipping abroad.

Q, I live in the u.k how long will it take for my item to arrive?

A, We post our items daily and your item should be with you within 1- 2 days after purchase apart from weekends. All our items are send 1st class and should be with you the very next day if payment is made before 4pm, items which are over the value of £32.00 will be sent (within the u.k) 1st class recorded which can sometimes take 2 days to get to you which royal mail do advise that this service can take a little longer. 

Q, I live outside the u.k how long will it take my item to arrive?

A, Your items are shipped daily ( if payment is made before 4pm u.k standard time), it should take 7-10 days to arrive.

Q, Help! i have ordered the wrong item can i exchange it?

A, Yes you can! we would ask you to send the wrong retro doll item(s) back within 14 days of purchase unopened and untested for a exchange please just let us know first.

Q, I have changed my mind i don't like the item or shade can the item be exchanged?

A, We are happy to exchange any Retro doll item which you are not happy with, please send your item(s) back un-opended and untested within 14 days of purchase for a exchange or a full refund, just let us know first.

Q, My item is faulty can i have a refund?

A, Our policy is to always refund or exchange faulty or broken items purchased from retro dolls. We would ask you to send us the item(s) back and we will offer you a full refund or we'll exchange it to the same item or the same value. Please get in touch if there is a problem with your item.

Q, I want to add more plugs to my doll can i do this?

A, This shouldn't be a problem  if you are re-rooting a softer plastic or vinyl doll you can add more plugs by inserting your needle or tool to make a new hole. if you have a harder head please get in touch as there are ways of getting around this problem.

Q,How many packs of hair do i need to re-root my doll?

A, If you visit the saran hair page there is a guide to help tell you how many packs are needed for your little lady or you can just get in touch we are always happy to help.

Q, Oh no! what shade will match my original dolls hair i am unsure help!

A,Don't worry!  we have a section on the saran home page which you should find helpful, we are always adding new shade info. if there is a certain shade you would like help on you are welcome to send a sample for us to colour match, or we are happy to send you a few samples to match up for your self just contact us but don't forget to leave us your name and address if you require a sample posting to you.

Q, How do i remove a babrie or bratz head?

A,This is so easy when you know how! just contact us and we'll let you know!

Q, I have a mark on my doll how can i remove it?

A, Retro dolls has many tricks up her sleeve just get in touch with your concern and we will do our best to help you.

Q, How do i boil perm and what is it?

A, Boil perming is a great way to either flatten or curl your re-rooted dolly's hair please contact us and we'll tell you how to do this.

Q, Iv just pulled my dollies eyelashes out ooops!!

A, This is not a problem and its easily fixed, many dolly restorers use midnight black saran hair to re-root their dolly eye lashes, you will need to use a smaller needle and re-root them as you would do with their hair. We can always send you instructions out with your midnight black saran hair purchase just ask us!, We also sell eye lashes for sindy trendy girls which are made from plastic not hair, they are very much alike their original eye lashes and can be found on the accessories page.

Q,Which hair do i use saran or acetate?

A, Acetate is great for the more experienced re-rooter,we have found people who restore 1960's - 1970's dolls like to use this type of hair on their little lady's, we've also found this hair is fab for sindy trendy girls, Saran is everyones friend its so easy to use and style and always looks amazing on any doll i would say saran is the best quality hair to use for all dolly ooak's and restorers.

Q, What does ooak mean?

A, Ooak pronounced "oak" means one-of-a-kind.
