It has always been about creating a nurturing, peaceful and calming environment for our furry friends and the students that we worked with.  During the seven years we worked together as elementary school counselors, we often raised the eyebrows of our co-workers with our unconventional ideas.  Our counseling methods included spa-like elements such as tranquil music, sand therapy, peaceful sounding fountains and lava lamps.  We would often brainstorm our dreams and "out of the box" ideas and talk of starting a business.  As pet owners, we wanted to nurture and pamper our pets with spa inspired products, and we realized, spa products and services for pets is virtually untapped!  It's our vision and the essence of Spa Time Pets to lead the way and expand the nurturing and pampering experience for pets everywhere.  We think you'll agree......Everyone Deserves a Little Spa Time!

Spa Time Pet Cape
All good ideas and inventions sprout from necessity.  Looking for a safe, convenient and cozy way to bathe and dry her baby daughter Grace, Debra took to putting her terrycloth bathrobe on backwards like a smock.  One day she thought a terry cloth cape would be perfect for this task and began searching for one on the internet.  After not finding one, Debra designed and invented the Spa Time Baby Cape.  Debra also found that this innovative cape was convenient to use while bathing her dog Madison.  Talk about saving yourself from those after bath shake offs!  Next, she sought out her long time friend and co-worker-Leslie-who could take Spa Time Pets to the next level and create a successful business. 

Debra holds a masters' degree in special education and taught students with learning disabilities for 7 years.  She also holds a master's degree in counseling and has worked as a school guidance counselor for 11 years. Leslie holds a bachelor's degree in physical education and a master's degree in counseling.  She is also certified to teach elementary education.  She worked as a P.E. teacher for 4 years, a K-2 teacher for 4 years and a school guidance counselor for 7 years. Debra and Leslie are the directors and co-owners of SpaTime Baby LLC. The Spa Time Baby Cape is patented.
